Winter weather conditions shortened what was supposed to be a three-game week for the Fleming Wildcats. Cold temperatures caused a cancellation of a scheduled home contest on Saturday against Genoa-Hugo. That game has been rescheduled for next week.
The Wildcats hosted Prairie on Friday night for their first league outing of the season. The boys' team fell to the Mustangs, 45-29; the girls' team took a 56-51 victory.
Individual stats for the games were not reported.
On Tuesday, Jan. 21, the Wildcats traveled to Akron. Scores and stats for those contests were not reported as of press time.
