The Fleming Wildcats came within two points of their first victory on Friday night against the South Platte Blue Knights out of Big Springs, Neb. The Wildcats hosted the Blue Knights and the Otis Bulldogs last weekend falling on both occasions.
Friday night's game opened with Fleming down by just three after the first quarter, 17-14. They came back and gained control of the scoreboard in the second quarter adding 15 and holding the visiting team to just six. Fleming led at the half, 29-23.
