The completion of the 2024 football season has brought All-Conference designations for six Fleming Wildcat players. After closing the season in the opening round of playoffs at 7-4 overall, senior Grant Kuntz, junior Pierson Japp and sophomores Dane Cunningham and Conner Marchant have been selected for All-Conference honors. Senior Peter Brekel and junior Mason Mollohan were chosen for All-Conference, Honorable Mention.
Kuntz, a senior at Lone Star who played on the Wildcat squad to close out his high school football career, made stand-out performances in several categories. With 2,142 rushing yards, he led the state in all classifications and finished with a national ranking of number 14. He was also ranked ninth in the league in receiving yards with 227. He led the league in scoring with 283 points, putting him in third in all of Colorado 6-man and fourth among all classifications in the state. He scored 47 touchdowns this season, giving him the second most in all of Colorado football and brought the ball back 448 yards on returns for the fourth spot in 6-man.
Japp took the third spot in the league in receiving yards with 275 over the course of the season. He scored five touchdowns and brought down 62 tackles for the Wildcat defense.
Cunningham took top spots from the kicker's position. He led the league in kickoff yards with 3,122, which also gave him the second most in all of Colorado football. He put 21 points-after attempts through the uprights - the league high. He also ranked fifth in the league in receiving yards with 237.
Marchant led the 6-man North league defensively with 112 total tackles on the year. He came in at number six in the league in punting yards averageing 30.25 per punt. Offensively, he racked up 892 total yards - 734 of those on the ground.
Brekel brought down 76 tackles for the Wildcat defense in his final season.
Mollohan brought down 74 tackles for the defense while adding 24 rushing yards for the offense. He also caught one interception this year.
