The Haxtun Bulldogs are one step closer to their ultimate goal with a 28-8 semifinals win over Mancos at home on Saturday. The victory over the Bluejays punches Haxtun's ticket to the 8-man State finals, the third appearance for the Bulldogs in the past four years. The first of the Bulldog's two main goals this season was a League Championship, which the team secured at the end of the regular season. The next is a State Championship and it's within arms reach.
