The Fleming Lady Wildcats sit in the fourth position of the Colorado High School Activities Association's Seeding Index as of Wednesday morning, Oct. 30. Just one match against Caliche remains on the regular season schedule.
The Lady Wildcats hosted Idalia last Friday and swept the Lady Wolves, 3-0. Despite the loss to the Lady Wildcats, Idalia is listed as the second seeded team in Colorado 1A volleyball.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, Fleming traveled to Simla where they took part in a triangular tournament with 2A's top-ranked Simla Lady Cubs and the Cheraw Lady Wolverines, who sit at number 10 in 1A.
Fleming took Simla to four sets before falling, 3-1. They bounced back to take a three-set win over Cheraw.
On Tuesday, Oct. 29, Fleming took on 1A's top-ranked team - the Merino Lady Rams. The hosting Lady Wildcats were swept by the Lady Rams that night. Scores by set for the match were not available as of press time. Individual stats for the week were also not available on MaxPreps.
Friday's final regular season match is scheduled to take place at Caliche. A 5 p.m. start time is listed on the Fleming Wildcat Chat Facebook page for varsity only.
