Pink Out honors Dr. Statz

THE HAXTUN LADY Bulldog volleyball team honored Dr. Lila Statz in the team's annual Pink Out game in honor of Breast Cancer Month during a home game with Idalia on Oct. 22.

Statz, long-time community member and Bulldog mom, recently beat breast cancer and is now on her own mission to spread awareness and help others along with her family via an Instagram account, statz_cancer. The account bio has a link to a risk assessment calculator to assist in determining the lifetime risk of an individual developing breast cancer.
