CSU Extension to lead Women's Health Summit this October

In response to a significant demand for women’s health information, Colorado State University Extension is pleased to announce the inaugural Women’s Health Summit, scheduled for Oct. 19 at the Washington County Event Center in Akron. This summit is a direct response to the increasing number of inquiries received by extension offices and insights gathered from community members across Northeast Colorado in a recent survey. The event aims to address vital health topics and foster empowerment among rural women.

This event will feature a luncheon and exhibitor fair, along with a keynote address titled “Cultivating Connection for Positive Change” by Dr. Lindsay Paulson, a rural physician and Boettcher Foundation Trustee. Attendees will also hear empowering stories from Sara House and benefit from presentations by experts on critical topics including menopause, maternal mental health and pelvic floor health.
