Field prep for Bulldogs' home opener

FRIDAY marks the 2024 football season's home opener for the Haxtun Bulldogs and to prep the field for the big game, coaches, players and parents helped Maintenance Director Don Schelling lay out the stencil of the Bulldog head at center field at Adam Wernsman Field on Monday evening. The stencil consists of 30 pieces that fit together to form the Bulldog so Schelling can then paint the design.

The Bulldogs take on Wichita County, Kan. at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6.
