Haxtun Public Library's summer reading comes to a close

Library to hours change

The Haxtun Public Library has new hours. As the summer reading program wraps up and Librarian Carolyn Davis preps for the fall, new hours were recently announced.

Davis said the Library will now be open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"To see if Saturday is a better day than Tuesday and Thursday, I am giving Saturday a try," she said. "We will also be open on these days from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., which adds another available hour to the days open."

Summer Reading comes to an end

The 2024 Summer Reading Program drew a total of 24 throughout July and early August. This year's theme was "Adventure Begins at Your Library."

Recently, Davis presented attendees end of the season reading certificates.
