Tamara Welch

Tamara Lucinda (Hill) Welch passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in Greeley at the age of 69.

Tamara was born Jan. 5, 1955 in Haxtun to Jackie Duane and Verna Marlene (Dee) Hill. She graduated from Haxtun High School, then completed her Associate Degree at Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas. Tamara married K. Michael Welch on July 13, 1975 in Sterling; the two were married for 49 years. Tamara owned and operated Sterling Health Foods for many years. In her free time she enjoyed bird watching.

Tamara is survived by her husband K. Michael Welch, Sterling; daughter Jacquelyn Hudson and husband Fred, Centennial; son Tyler Welch and wife Jolene, Westminster; grandchildren William and Jenna Hudson; sisters Denise Hill, Sterling, Camellia Hill, Kansas City, Mo., and Teresa Hill, Sterling.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Marlene Hill.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Tamara's name may be made to the Salvation Army.
