What's new at the Haxtun Public Library?

Books - that's what's new! The Haxtun Public Library has added several fiction books to both the adult and juvenile sections. The series many are excited about is "Wings of Fire" by Tui T. Sutherland in the juvenile fiction section.

"I read the first book in the series, "The Dragonet Prophecy on a drive to Indiana and had to finish the last half hour of the book before going into the house and being social," said Haxtun Public Librarian Carolyn Davis. "I decided to purchase the first six books of the series and upon looking, noticed that there are also corresponding graphic novels, so I purchase those as well."

The series starts with a group of young dragonets who were stolen from their parents before hatching. They have to decide whether or not to test their destiny or follow through with the prophecy written about them.
