Judy Crossland

Judy Lynn (Salvador) Crossland passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 65.

Judy was born on Sept. 7, 1958 to Paul and Florence (Langdon) Salvador in Haxtun. Judy married Harold Crossland Sept. 30, 1984. She attended Holyoke and Haxtun schools.

After graduating from Haxtun High School in 1977, Judy went to Northeastern Junior College to pursue her cosmetology career. Judy was then a passionate beautician for 45 years, including owning her own beauty shop. Judy took very good care of her clientele accommodating them for when they needed anything, some of those things consisted of; doing home appointments, taking very early and late appointments, picking up her clients, taking her clients to do any errands they needed to do before taking them home after their hair appointments. Judy also enjoyed going to the Haxtun Nursing home to do her clients hair when they were in there.

After the countless, hard-working hours in her salon, you would catch Judy spending most of the night in a tractor raking hay, helping out her husband, Harold, with his custom hay business. Judy made it to support almost all of her great nephews and niece extracurricular activities such as; sports, concerts, school speeches, continuations, graduation and so much more! Judy was an independent, hardworking and dependable woman! She will be greatly missed!

Judy is survived by her sister Cheryl Salvador Johnston; brother Mike Salvador and Carol; nephews Matt and Justin Salvador; great-nephews Braden and Bryson Salvador; and great-niece Braylin Salvador; as well as many other nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Judy is proceeded in death by her husband Harold Crossland; parents Paul and Florence (Langdon) Salvador; in-laws Vic and Marian Crossland; brother-in-law William "B.J." Johnston; grandparents Lloyd and Millie (Harnish) Langdon and Richard "R.M." and Lillian Salvador.

Private graveside services were held on June 7.
