THE HAXTUN SWIMMING Pool is officially open! Swimming pool staff, employees from the Town of Haxtun, donor representatives and swimming pool committee members gathered for a grand opening on Monday morning, June 10. Open swim started later the in the day with additional swimming pool activities kicking off the rest of the week including water exercise and night swimming. Swimming lessons are scheduled for later in June.

"This was a community project driven by community members with a vision to create something better than what was here before, providing a better future for our recreational facilities for families, children and the community altogether," said Haxtun Mayor Mike Ensminger just before the open house ribbon cutting.
