Keller brother duo joins Haxtun Health team in orthopedics

Orthopedics is a branch of medicine that focuses on the care of the skeletal system and its interconnecting parts. It ranges from bones, muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Orthopedists use both surgical and nonsurgical approaches to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as sports injuries, arthritis, ligament injuries, occupational injuries, sprains, joint pain and more.

Haxtun Health has a strong orthopedic surgical network and connects patients to the right surgeon for their particular condition. Pre-operative and follow-up care for surgery can all be done right here at Haxtun Health. The Orthopedic Clinic offers the latest techniques and treatments to ensure a speedy and healthy recovery.

Keller brothers

Kenneth Keller, MD, and David Keller, PA-C, have been pillars of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Morgan for 26 years.

Dr. Ken Keller had a longtime calling to put down roots in Colorado to be closer to the inspiring mountains he fell in love with in his early years. Dr. Ken, originally from Connecticut, lived with his family outside of New York City. He trained and studied at Cornell University Medical College in New York and Boston College in Massachusetts. He completed his residency in Long Island, N.Y. After spending time in the big city, in 1998 he and his family decided to finally take a chance on Northeast Colorado. It was a big change for them transitioning from the busy, loud city to small town living but a positive one. Shortly after Dr. Ken and his family moved to Fort Morgan, he called his brother, David, to see if he was ready to trade in the city lights of Boston for a quiet, small community in rural Colorado. David later joined his brother in the winter of 1998.

David Keller studied and completed his Physician Associate training at Northeastern University in Boston. David and his wife, being a young family, shortly discovered that Fort Morgan was a great place to raise a family where they could truly be part of a community where they have been active in the school, Booster Club, various sports teams and the school board.

Both brothers continue to build their practice in Northeast Colorado. They are looking forward to expanding their services to Haxtun Health.
