1. Please give some background/history on the opening/purchase of your business.

Points West Community Bank embodies a history of community that began with the founding of the Haxtun Community Bank in 1944. In 2003, the First Nebraska Bank holding company, a family-owned banking firm the originated in Lisco, Nebraska purchased the bank and subsequently changed the name to Points West Community Bank.

2. What are the owners/key players in your building?

Points West Community Bank is proud of its 7 employees with over 100 years of combined experience. Our leadership team consists of Ross Edwards, Vice-President/Branch Manager, Deann Weiss, Operations Officer, and Lance Chapdelaine, Loan Officer.

3. What services/products do you offer your customers?

The bank specializes in agriculture lending, but also does commercial, real estate, and consumer vehicle loans. We also offer a full-range of deposit products, plus IRAs, health savings and short- and long-term deposits.

4. Where are you located and how can a customer find/contact you?

We are located at 128 S. Colorado Avenue in Haxtun. We also have 19 other branches located in Northern Colorado, Eastern Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.

6. Is there anything else you would want customers to know?

The bank's community commitment goes beyond service by encouraging its employees to be active citizens, serving on boards and joining organizations. Our employees are active members of the Haxtun Lions Club, Haxtun Hospital Foundation, Haxtun School Board and Haxtun Education Foundation. The bank also gives financial support to school groups, community events and other civic projects. We appreciate the loyalty of the people in the community who support the bank.
