Haxtun qualifies 3 relay teams + 8 individuals for State Track

Eight individuals and three relay teams qualified for the 2024 Colorado State Track meet slated for later this week at Jeff. Co. Stadium in Lakewood. As time to qualify neared, the Bulldog track team competed in two last chance meets to run faster, jump further and throw harder. Below is a list of top-10 results from those meets and a complete list of State Track Qualifiers.

HOKA St. Vrain

Invitational, May 10

Discus: Reagan Jones, seventh place, 114 feet, nine inches.

60th Warren Mitchell

Invitational, May 11

1,600-meter run: Jinjer Stroyek, ninth, 7:02.34.

Triple jump: Jayleigh Bullard, third, 31 feet, 9.75 inches.

Discus: Zoe Kurtzer, ninth, 94 feet, seven inches.

100-meter dash: Josh Wright, fifth, 12.26.

200-meter dash: Josh Wright, fourth, 24.18.

400-meter dash: Josh Wright, eighth, 56.68.

800-meter run: Aiden Starkebaum, eighth, 2:23.55.

High jump: Max Grauberger, ninth, five feet, 1.5 inches.

The following is a list of athletes who will complete at the State Track Meet this week:

Grant Statz: 100-meter dash and shot put.

Joshua Wright: 100-meter dash.

Max Grauberger: high jump.

Zach Statz: triple jump.

Jayleigh Bullard: 100-meter hurdles, high jump and triple jump.

Lexi Imhof: high jump.

Cassidy Goddard: discus and shot put.

Reagan Jones: discus.

Wright, Ryland Wolff, Grant Statz, Zach Statz and Colin Cone will make up the four-by-100, -200 and -400-meter relay teams. Starkebaum, Keegan Colglazier, Corbin Andersen and Seth Seger will serve as alternates.
