Community service team creates mentorship

OVER the course of the 2023-24 school year, Haxtun Future Business Leaders of America's Community Service Project team has created a mentorship program known as Business Buddies. Team members, pictured above, Brandon Nall, Alyssa Molde and Corbin Andersen, are the founders of this mentorship.

The main aspect of Business Buddies is to assist younger students with academics and social skills. Since the beginning of January, the Community Service team has been meeting with some select elementary students a few times a week. The team has been helping them with reading, math and social skills. Throughout the year, the students made significant growth within these areas. The team plans to continue Business Buddies next school year.
