CASSIDY Goddard broke the discus record at Haxtun High School with a throw of 135 feet, four inches at the Holyoke Invitational Meet on May 1.
Cassidy Goddard once again broke the discus record at Haxtun High School. The senior broke her own record from her junior year with a throw of 135 feet, four inches. Goddard set the new record at the Holyoke Invitational Meet on May 1.
Last year, Goddard broke the school record with a throw of 103 feet, eight inches at the HOKA St. Vrain Invitational. At that time, she broke a record set and held by Callie Dickerson who registered a throw of 126 feet, six inches at the 2017 Colorado 1A State Track Meet.
Goddard recently signed a letter of intent to further her track and field career at Black Hills State in the fall.
As the spring season nears its close, Bulldog tracksters are working to qualify for the 2024 State Championships slated for the end of next week. The following is a top-10 list of last week's meets:
