The four seniors on the Fleming Wildcats' 2023 football squad have earned All-Conference designations at the completion of the season. David Betley, Wyatt Cochran and Matix Haney received All-Conference accolades. Christian Polly was selected for All-Conference, Honorable Mention.
Betley played guard and defensive tackle for the Wildcats this year. He finished the season with 15 solo and 12 assisted tackles for the defense. He also tallied three blocked passes and one fumble recovery. On offense, Betley added 33 rushing yards with one touchdown and 45 receiving yards off six passes.
Cochran filled running back, defensive end and outside linebacker shoes for the Wildcats this year. He closed his high school career with 1,722 rushing yards, putting him in the number three spot for rushing yards on Colorado's 6-, 8- and 9-man teams, and scored 23 touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 28 total receiving yards. Defensively, Cochran brought down 19 solo tackles and 12 assisted. He caught three interceptions and recovered four fumbles. On special teams, Cochran kicked off 21 times for 465 total yards.
Haney also played running back, defensive end and outside linebacker. He tallied 957 rushing yards for the Wildcat offense and added 15 touchdowns. He caught four passes earning himself another 21 offensive yards. Defensively, Haney brought down 27 solo tackles, 30 assisted tackles and one sack on the season.
Polly served as the Wildcats' center this season and also filled a role as defensive tackle. Offensively, he carried the ball 10 times for 48 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, he aided with six tackles, grabbed one fumble recovery and blocked a field goal.
