Ag students help construct new welcome sign

A NEW WELCOME to Haxtun sign greets visitors entering town from the south thanks to work from Haxtun High School ag students. Original sign materials from the two that sit on the east and west sides of town were used to reconstruct the newest sign. HHS ag students used welding, construction and painting skills to refurbish the sign along with donated supplies from IWS. Mark Gueck donated the land the new sign sits on just south of Haxtun.
