Firemen to host breakfast

For decades Corn Festival goers have started their day with pancakes, bacon and eggs at the Haxtun Fire Hall and the 102nd is no different. The Haxtun Volunteer Fireman will host their annual breakfast this year at the fire hall, located at the corner of Colorado Avenue and Strohm Street.

Each year the local fire department serves a hearty breakfast of pancakes, eggs and bacon from 7-9 a.m. This year’s event is slated for Saturday, Sept. 30 in downtown Haxtun.
