Gerk plays in All-State CHSCA game

RECENT HAXTUN graduate Michael Gerk played in the Colorado High School Coaches Association All-State game last week. Gerk's team, the North, won 10-7 with a field goal. He is pictured above with his Dad, Rich, on the left, and Haxtun High School Football Coach JD Stone.

Seniors who earn All-State honors from all classifications are pooled together and then voted on by a panel to play in the annual All-State game. This is the second consecutive year Haxtun has had a player in the CHSCA football game. Last year Isaac Andersen represented the Bulldogs.
