Fleming track competes at Akron last weekend

The Fleming Wildcats competed at the Tom Meyer Invitational Track Meet in Akron on Saturday, April 29. Those finishing among the top-10 are as follows:

Girls

100-meter dash: Kally Kirkwood, third, 13.06.

200-meter dash: Kirkwood, first, 26.43.

400-meter dash: Kirkwood, first, 1:04.15.

1,600-meter run: Emoree Lousberg, sixth, 6:51.10.

Four-by-100-meter relay: Team of Lexi Schaefer, Brooke Schaefer, Maddy Zink and Siena Donnelson, third, 58.91.

Four-by-200-meter relay: Team of Lexi Schaefer, Ciana Lousberg, Maddy Harms and Donnelson, third, 2:00.72.

Four-by-800-meter relay: Team of Emoree Lousberg, Ciana Lousberg, Maddy Harms and MadiKay Serrato second, 11:53.62.

Long jump: Brooke Schaefer, second, 14 feet, eight inches; Lexi Schaefer, third, 14 feet, four inches; Ciana Lousberg, fifth, 13 feet, seven inches; Siena Donnelson, eighth, 12 feet, 11.75 inches.

Triple jump: Lexi Schaefer, second, 31 feet, 3.5 inches; Brooke Schaefer, fourth, 29 feet, 6.75 inches.

High jump: Ashley Bornhoft, ninth, four feet, four inches.

Pole vault: Serrato, fifth, seven feet, six inches.

The girls' team finished in fourth place with 85 points.

Boys

300-meter hurdles: Pierson Japp, ninth, 53.14.

Four-by-100-meter relay: Team of Lincoln Castillo, Kale Volkman, Matix Haney and Nolan Japp, seventh, 49.17.

Four-by-200-meter relay: Team of Castillo, Volkman, Haney and Pierson Japp, seventh, 1:47.36.

Four-by-800-meter relay: Team of David Betley, Pierson Japp, Jared Betley and Castillo, seventh, 10.43.95.

Long jump: Nolan Japp, second, 19 feet, 3.75 inches; Pierson Japp, seventh, 17 feet, 1.75 inches.

Triple jump: Nolan Japp, fifth, 39 feet, one-half inch.

The boys' team earned a ninth place finish with 20 total points.
