ACPRC breaks record at recent banquets

A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado held the organization’s annual fundraising banquets on four consecutive evenings with four locations in Sterling, Holyoke, Yuma and Brush, Jan. 27-30.

This year’s banquet theme “Planting Seeds of Growth” featured speaker Amy Ford, Co-founder and president of Embrace Grace ministries, an international non-profit that has trained and equipped over 950 churches in all 50 states and multiple countries to open their doors and hearts to women with unexpected pregnancies.

“The pregnancy center should be the first responders and the church should be the hospital,” Ford said. “We’re excited to launch Embrace Grace as a support system in northeast Colorado this spring.”

Roberta Bigalk, Executive Director of A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado said the organization is growing.

“With over 1,000 people in attendance at our banquets, we’re excited about the support we have received across our service area. Having served well over 300 women this past year shows us how valuable our organization is to the communities we serve in Northeastern Colorado,” Bigalk said. “We raised a record-breaking amount of support that, once all is said and done, may exceed our expectations! We’re closing in on $175,000 and with the continued support of our communities across the northeast plains of Colorado, I’m sure we will make it! Each of the four banquets doubled what they had done in the past.”

A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit with five locations in Yuma, Wray, Sterling, Holyoke and Brush providing no-cost and confidential pregnancy confirmation, STD Testing, ultrasounds, lending closets and support services throughout Northeast Colorado. Not every pregnant mom needs assistance but many of our clients do not have a good support system that is providing the essentials.

All proceeds from the evening go directly to helping young mothers, students, babies and families in Northeast Colorado. For more information about services or to donate, contact the Pregnancy Center at (970) 842-4324 or visit our website: neco-cpc.org/tickets.
