Free diabetes and oral health webinar slated for Thursday, Feb. 9

Community members are invited to a webinar on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 12-1 p.m. to learn more about diabetes and oral health including routine care recommendations, insight on home care and how blood glucose control is related to oral health. Dr. Alexa Crete from Northeastern Dental Associates in Sterling, will share her insight and expertise related to best practices when it comes to dental care for people with diabetes.

Dr. Crete was born and raised in sunny Phoenix, Ariz. and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics and Nutritional Science and then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She has worked in a variety of practices in the Front Range and is currently at Northeastern Dental Associates. She has an honest passion for connecting with her patient’s and educating them about how their oral health influences their overall health.

This webinar is provided at no cost and available to attend in-person. Registration is recommended to ensure adequate seating and handouts.
