Haxtun Schools seek input

The Haxtun School District is seeking input from both parents and community members. Recently, the District released a survey asking the community and parents a few short questions on a number of items of interest including the four-day week and the possible introduction of random drug testing at Haxtun Schools.

The survey can be found at https://forms.gle/grd4FXjh5CvPpTfBA or by scanning the QR code accompanying this story. The link to the survey will be open through the remainder of the first semester in mid-December. All Haxtun parents and community members are asked to take the survey and give input. The survey includes nine questions and also includes a link to a FAQ sheet with common questions and information regarding the random drug testing policy.

Plans are to gather information from the survey after the first of the year and use it for a number of things including developing next year's school calendar, the proposed policy on random drug testing and the overall success of Haxtun High School graduates.

For more information on the survey or for support in completing the document, contact the High School Office at (970) 774-6111.
