What can we reason but from what we know? -Alexander Pope
The Office of the Phillips County Clerk and Recorder would like to remind voters that ballots were mailed Monday, Oct. 17 and individual landowners who are active registered voters in Phillips County will receive both a regular ballot and a landowner ballot for this election.
Landowners will not get a landowner ballot if the land is registered to a trust, LLC or a business — the property must be owned by an individual. Voters must place the landowner ballot in the landowner envelope and the State ballot needs to be put in the regular envelope. Both envelopes must be signed and returned to the Clerk’s Office by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Voters are reminded that surrounding counties also have landowner ballots and if you receive one of these, please be sure to return it to the appropriate county.
Please call the Clerk’s Office at (970) 854-3131 for any questions.
