Lady Bulldogs go 2-1 in weekend tournament in Brush on Saturday

In a three match day of play in tournament action on Saturday, the Haxtun Lady Bulldogs came out 2-1 with wins of over Wellington and Weldon Valley and a loss to Prairie. The weekend’s action leaves the local volleyball team 6-7 overall as the Lady Bulldogs head into homecoming week and their first home games of the season.

The tournament, played in Brush, featured best of three action in which the Lady Bulldogs totaled six sets on the day. Haxtun fell to Prairie in game one, 2-0, but came back to sweep Wellington and Weldon Valley, 2-0, to take a winning record from the tournament.
