Immanual Lutheran events set to begin

Immanuel Lutheran Church’s midweek youth night will begin with a barbecue on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m. This is for youth of all ages and their parents. Starting on Sept. 14, God’s Children Alive, which is for children from preschool through sixth grade meets from after school until 5 p.m. Kids walk to church from school with an adult. This year the Church plans to start a junior high class from 5-5:45 p.m. The high school group, Lutheran Youth Alive, will meet from 6:30-8 p.m.

Along with that Pastor Tim Hahn will be starting an adult confirmation class beginning on Monday, Sept. 12 at 5:30 p.m. This for anyone interested in learning about what is believed and taught in church. Anyone who completes the class is welcome to become a member of the church but is under no obligation to do so. If Monday evening is an inconvenient time, contact Pastor Hahn to make other arrangements.

For more information call or text Pastor Hahn at (815) 278-0949 or email at [email protected].
