Wind tower collapses

A WIND TOWER collapsed in a field in Logan County last week. The tower is on land owned by the State of Colorado off Highway 61 and leased by Dave and Tricia Etl, who farm the ground underneath the tower. The wind tower is one of many in the area managed by NextEra Energy. Fleming and Sterling fire departments responded to the incident; no injuries were reported.
