Wildcat track competes at Haxtun Relays

The Fleming Wildcat track team traveled to Holyoke last week to take part in Haxtun Relays. The girls’ team finished in seventh place with 38 points; the boys’ team finished in 10th place with three points. Results from Haxtun Relays are as follows:

Girls

100-meter dash: Zoey Vandenbark, first place, 13.58; Lexi Schaefer, 10th, 14.61.

200-meter dash: Kally Kirkwood, first, 27.65; Vandenbark, sixth, 28.79.

800-meter run: Madi Serrato, first, 2:43.80.

Four-by-100-meter relay: Team of Schaefer, Whitney Chintala, Kirkwood and Vandenbark, second, 53.75.

Four-by-200-meter relay: Team of Schaefer, Chintala, Kirkwood and Vandenbark, second, 1:54.86.

Four-by-800-meter relay: Team of Maddy Harms, Maddy Zink, Serrato and Laney Schliesser, second, 12:21.83.

Triple jump: Schaefer, fourth, 30 feet, 2.25 inches.

Pole vault: Serrato, eighth, six feet, 10 inches.

Shot put: Schliesser, ninth, 27 feet, 11.5 inches; Chintala, 10th, 27 feet, seven inches.

Boys

1,600-meter run: Beau Ashburn, fourth, 5:49.45.

110-meter hurdles: Jack Bornhoft, sixth, 22.48.

Four-by-100-meter relay: Team of David Betley, CaidWelch, Ashburn and Bornhoft, sixth, 58.93.

Four-by-100-meter throwers relay: Team of Betley, Welch, Ashburn and Bornhoft, fifth, 1:03.62.
