Knowledge bowl team takes first

HAXTUN HIGH SCHOOL'S Knowledge Bowl team recently competed in Akron along with 10 other teams from around the area. Haxtun High School took two teams to the competition; teams A and B. The A team, consisting of Jeff Minder, AJ Calderon, Allie Thompson and Brayden Clark, pictured above, earned a first place finish. Team B, made up of Michael Gerk, Kyle Fryrear and Aly Lock finished sixth. The Haxtun Knowledge Bowl team has a total of 12 members who compete in teams of three or four at local competitions in preparation for Regionals....
