HPD warrant results in arrest

The Haxtun Police Department recently conducted an investigation on a party for Internet Luring.

After an investigation, the police department obtained an arrest warrant for Christopher Michael Whitcomb, 24, Sterling after he agreed to meet a 14-year-old female for the purposes of sexual intercourse.

On Oct. 12, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Whitcomb on Haxtun Police Department’s warrant. The warrant was for the charges of Internet Luring of a Child, Enticement of a Child, and Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child....
