Governor to appoint new county court judge
The Thirteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission has nominated three candidates for a Sedgwick County court judgeship created by the retirement of the Honorable Craig Dolezal. The vacancy occurred on Oct. 1.
Nominees John Fryar and Chris Hoschouer, both of Julesburg, and Myka Landry, Kiowa, were selected in a meeting on Sept. 27.
Under the Colorado Constitution, the Governor has 15 days from Sept. 28 within which to appoint one of the nominees as county court judge for Sedgwick County.
