“The girls stepped up this week and played better volleyball,” Head Coach Paige Thompson said. “We did a great job against Wray and were able to significantly lower our number of unforced errors. I was really happy with their teamwork and effort. We had one tough set against Holyoke to start off the game, but were able to play much better the next two sets. Our final week of games is going to be very important. We need to play our best volleyball to get a post-season spot. The girls have played a tough schedule this season and I know that they can put everything they have been working on together and make it happen.”

This week the Lady Bulldogs are set to face off with Caliche Wednesday night. First serve is set for 4 p.m. at the home of the Lady Buffs who are currently 2-8 overall. Haxtun is set to wrap up regular season play at home on Friday with a triangle against Weldon Valley and Holyoke. Weldon Valley currently holds a 7-4 record while Holyoke enters with a 6-4 overall record.
