Herald offices have gone remote; sale of the store front and building along Haxtun’s main street is final this week. Owners Spring Atchison and Candie Fix announced the sale of the building and the relocation of their offices several weeks ago.
Atchison and Fix will both work from home offices as publication of The Haxtun-Fleming Herald and the sale of office supplies will continue as normal and without glitch. New owners, Brandon and Julia Biesemeier, took ownership of the building at 217 South Colorado Avenue on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
Publication of the Herald will continue each Wednesday with distribution through mail and via online subscriptions. Hard print copies are also sold at The Daily Grind, C-Mart and Haxtun Super’s. Subscription orders may be placed at http://www.hfherald.com.
Additionally, office supply orders can be placed at [email protected] or over the phone at (970) 774-6118. All orders must be placed by Thursday at noon for Friday delivery.
Advertisers can use the same number or email [email protected] for submissions. Classified ads maybe placed and paid for online on the Herald website.
The Herald mailing address remains the same at P.O. Box 128, Haxtun, CO 80731.

“I think that the sale of our office building will ensure that we can continue to be viable in the coming years,” Atchison said of selling the Herald building. “This year has presented unique challenges for all small businesses and I encourage our community to remember to support local enterprises.”
