Adam Powell

Adam John Powell passed away on Sept. 21, 2020 at the age of 39.

Adam was born on April 27, 1981 in Atwood, Kan. and grew up in McDonald, Kan. attending Cheylin elementary and high school. He graduated from Cheylin High School in 1999.

After high school Adam attended Sterling College in Sterling, Kan. on a football scholarship for one season before returning to Colby Community College. Adam was a cook at heart and began cooking at various restaurants before opening his own bar and grill in Atwood called the Corner Pocket.
