    Haxtun's 2024 summer ball program etched it's place in history last week with a complete sweep of the Border League softball and baseball tournaments. Haxtun teams claimed championship titles in both the 9-12 and 13-16 softball brackets as well as the pee-wee, little league and babe ruth brackets.     With all 64 Colorado counties reporting, the State had only a 25.72 percent voter turnout for the 2024 Primary Election held June 25.
