    Denver Bronco fans young and old bundled up on a chilly Friday night and headed to the Fleming Wildcat football field to greet Mark Jackson, former Denver Bronco, as well as four current Denver Bronco cheerleaders.     Phillips County voters should have received ballots in their mail boxes last week for the general, Nov. 2 election. According to Phillips County Clerk and Recorder, ballots were mailed between Friday, Oct. 8 and Friday, Oct. 15. Locally, registered voters in Haxtun will decide on a number of issues including two ballot questions for the Town of Haxtun and one for the Haxtun School District.     Haxtun’s Lady Bulldogs added three wins to their now impressive 16-3 season record last week. The local ladies in red took on Bethune and Hi-Plains in triangle action on Saturday and picked up a five-set victory over Weldon Valley on Monday. Saturday’s action took the Lady Bulldogs south to Siebert to face off with Bethune and Hi-Plains in best-of-three triangle competition.     Vivian Dorothy Bahler passed away peacefully on Oct. 12, 2021 in Thornton at the age of 81 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's.
