The Haxtun Board of Education met for a regular meeting on Monday, Sept. 16 in the high school library. The regular Tuesday meeting date was moved to a day earlier to avoid conflict with other events on the school calendar. Over the past three games the Haxtun Bulldogs have been unstoppable on both sides of the ball. The Fleming Wildcats hosted and defeated the Warriors of Weldon Valley in Thursday night action last week. The win advances the Wildcats to 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in the league putting them in the top 6-man North slot according to MaxPreps. The Fleming Lady Wildcats spent two nights over the past week sweeping the volleyball court. Fleming added three-set wins over the Peetz Lady Bulldogs on Wednesday and the Weldon Valley Lady Warriors on Thursday bringing them to 7-2 on the year.
