Charisse "Chari" Marie Lambert passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Fleming at the age of 65. Chari was born on Aug. 20, 1956 in Greeley to Ruby Hanson. She went to Greeley Elementary and graduated from Portland High School in Texas. She also attended some college at Texas A&M University. She was a Teacher in Mathis, Texas and in the Fleming Special Education Department. Chari married Russell Lambert in Fleming on June 4, 2005. The Haxtun Bulldogs are Regional Champions and in the 1A State Baseball Final Four following nailbiter wins over top 10 teams last week. The Bulldogs traveled south to Cheyenne Wells to face off with #10 ranked Stratton and the second seeded home team in Regional action. For their final meet before the 1A State Track Meet slated for end of this week, the Fleming Wildcat track team traveled to Limon last Saturday to compete in the 1A Invitational.
