Construction on the new main street clinic should begin again over the next few weeks. That message came from Haxtun Health Chief Executive Officer Dewane Pace in a Jan. 23 meeting of the Board of Directors. Finnis Dwayne Brown went to meet his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023 at the age of 95. He was born July 28, 1927 in Yetta to Abe Brown and Beulah P. (Cochran) Brown. Finnis graduated from Fleming High School in Fleming. He joined the United States Navy and served in WWII, spending most of his time in the Philippines. He married Virginia M. Lousberg on July 9, 1947 at St. Peter's Catholic Church south of Fleming. They were married 70 years before Virginia's passing on April 13, 2018....
