This year at Fleming, there is a cross-country team. “The team is small, but mighty,” said Jared Betley, one of the high school runners. Small is an understatement; Jared Betley is the only cross-country runner in high school. In junior high, there are five runners. The runners are Mason Nicolet, Corbin Detmer, Taten Sonnenberg, Draven Oldenburg and Brooks Brekel. The group has competed at five cross-country meets.
